The Indian Society for History of Mathematics is dedicated to promoting research, education, and awareness of the rich tradition of mathematical thought in India and across the world.
Founded in 1978, ISHM fosters scholarship through its journal Gaṇita Bhāratī, annual conferences, and collaborative programs with institutions across India and internationally.
